Our Story
Originally founded in 2006, we evolved over time until we found our greater purpose around 2016 when we expanded to pre-schools and widened our team.
That’s when the name Mosaic really started to take on more meaning for us – we are a combo of truly passionate educators all striving for the best balance of supportive education and play inspired experiences for all.
Today our community is a mosaic of dedicated teachers, parents and kids of all ages – all benefiting from our approach that provides play inspired learning through myriad diverse experiences.
Our approach
Our play-inspired approach transcends across all our education services, leveraging our intrinsic desire to learn in an immersive and holistic manner.
We engage techniques that aim to reach out to different types of learners, enabling everyone to participate and maximise their learnings.
Our Logo
The Mosaic logo consists of a colourful tangram and our belief in a “play-inspired learning” approach.
A tangram is a puzzle of seven flat and colourful tiles, called ‘tans’. Its goal is to form different silhouettes/pictures using all seven pieces without one overlapping the other. In many ways, it represents Mosaic beliefs.
The tangram powerfully captures the philosophy behind Mosaic’s play-inspired approach to learning across all its educational services.
As how one would play a tangram, Mosaic believes that learning is an ever-changing process that should be actively engaging for individuals. Learning experiences also need to be meaningful, iterative, joyful and socially interactive so that authentic and deep learning takes place for all individuals across ages (from infants to adults).
Similar to how a tangram combines shapes and creates different forms, so are the services offered by Mosaic. We cater and support playful learning for all ages.
Just like how a myriad of combinations and shapes can be formed from a single tangram, we look forward to exploring and providing endless possibilities and learning opportunities as we journey with you and your child at Mosaic!

Partnership with Spiral International
Mosaic Academy is excited to announce our recent partnership with Spiral International.
Both organisations share common goals to promote global education through international education and exchange.
Spiral International is an educational organization located in Vermont, U.S.A., and it promotes inter-cultural learning and understanding through international school cooperative programs and international student exchanges. It helps schools of other countries to learn and implement American advanced education theory and best practices, and it provides opportunities for international students to study in America through summer English and cultural learning programs and through a school-year placement program. It also offers consulting services and workshops to help international and American students, teachers, scholars and businesspeople learn about cultures other than their own.
Together as partners, we will promote Mosaic’s educational exchange programmes to Spiral-affiliated schools in the United States and China. We look forward to working with Dr Emily Guo and her Spiral team!
